Industry Week

The key to success in the music industry – alongside talent – is networking. That’s why Confetti’s Industry Week is our highlight of the year: it’s a chance to meet with the pros, swap notes on their skills, knowledge and experience, and get your name out there.

Past Industry Week guests have included:

  • Michael Eavis - Glastonbury founder
  • Susan Rogers - Prince
  • Tony Visconti - David Bowie
  • Sylvia Massy - Aerosmith
  • Alan McGee - Creation Records founder
  • Nick Raphael - Co-President at Capitol Records
  • Steve Albini - world-renowned producer and engineer
  • Sister Bliss - Faithless

Where will a Music and Live Events degree take you?

You’ll be ready to pursue a range of career paths within the industry, in positions such as a singer, songwriter, band member, session musician, record producer, teacher, music director, or composer.

Other roles our students go into include A&R, journalism, artist management, and music and sound supervisor for media products.
