You can browse our full A-Z list of clubs on the NTU Sport website.

Each club has its own membership fee for the year, and you have until the 13 October 2024 to attend Squad Selection and taster sessions to make sure the club is right for you.

Carry on reading below to find out how to get involved with NTU Sport Clubs for the 2024-25 academic year.

Engaging with NTU Sport is a great opportunity to try new things, spend good time doing sport, meet new people and maintain friendships. You can find a new passion or continue with the sport you have been doing before while being at university. It can be just for fun or serious and professional, you can work out individually or become a part of a team, try a different sport every month or focus on one throughout the whole year - choose your own way to be active!

Squad Selection: Representing NTU as part of a team.

The NTU Sport Squad Selection process is now open for the 2024-25 academic year. These sessions are designed to identify your strengths and find the perfect club and team for you. This is where you can be selected to represent NTU in the BUCS (or equivalent) leagues against other institutions, for the clubs that compete.

All squad selection sessions hosted on NTU Campus grounds are free to attend, simply book through the NTU Sport app – information on how to do so can be found later down this article.

Sessions are listed on both the NTU Welcome website, and on the NTU Sport App.

Taster sessions: Trying something new.

NTU Sport taster sessions are perfect for trying something entirely new or rediscovering a sport you once loved. With activities ranging from rugby and hockey to climbing and archery, there’s something for everyone. Book onto a session today to kickstart your university sport experience.

Taster sessions hosted on NTU Campus grounds are also free to attend and are listed on both the NTU Welcome website, and on the NTU Sport App.

Pink Memberships: More than just a gym.

With pink memberships, you get the best of everything our sports facilities have to offer. Access two modern gyms, a variety of fitness classes, court booking spaces for a range of sports, and the chance to join in our award-winning Play for Fun sport sessions. With three tiers of membership available, in both monthly and yearly packages, our Pink Memberships are ideal for students who want a flexible approach to staying active, and a chance to join our vibrant fitness community.

Want to see if the Pink Memberships are for you? For all new students joining in 2024, you can get four free sessions to use before the 13 October 2024. Simply pick up a free pass at the welcome fairs, or ask at the reception desk of our sport centres.
