The Institute of Health and Allied Professions develops collaborative and innovative education and research in health, aiming to make a positive contribution to improving health for all.
We offer a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional development education programmes to develop compassionate healthcare practitioners, able to work flexibly to lead high quality, integrated health care provision which keeps the person at the centre.
The institute has vibrant international partnerships which support specialist interdisciplinary research in public health. Underpinning all our research, practice and education is a commitment to collaboration and we work in close partnership with local, national and international health and social care providers, service users and their families. This supports our curriculum and research to be patient focused, clinically relevant and practice orientated.
