Hi, my name is Connor. I'm on the BA content creation course here at Nottingham Trent University. The best project for my final year has been business entrepreneurship because that was the one where I was able to get a thirteen weeks placement at Nottingham Trent University’s social team. I learned the ins and outs of how social media teams work, trying to grab engagement, text, font, the small little details such as captions. It's just absolutely fantastic. The amount I learned from that is just unbeaten. I've got the chance to film varsity through that. I've done a day in a life where that's gone on my own social medias. I helped make the six seven research video, one of their highest viewed videos of the year. I've just had so many good experiences through that and it's been able to help me develop and get more opportunities, so I've sort of piggybacked off that.

So the content creation course, we learn about the community engagement, engagement rate, but then we also learn about the ethics and diversity in social media. Learn how to wean your way through it all and best produce work that can be inclusive.

It allows us through that to have as much creative freedom as they can possibly give us. I have dyslexia and I struggle a lot with writing. If I ever need help with proofreading or anything like that, I can always book a one to one at Boots with one of the librarians or even a sit down with my lecturer. Nottingham Trent University provides me with more support than I've ever received for my dyslexia and it's just top notch. My work has significantly improved. Just through that it's been able to boost my grades, so it's absolutely fantastic.
