Based on your open day booking, you're visiting our Clifton Campus, which is just four miles south of Nottingham city centre.
1. Check-in on arrival
Head to the Pavilion building to check-in, grab a printed copy of the open day guide, find complimentary refreshments, and toilets.
2. Enjoy a warm welcome
Kick-start your day at our welcome talk to discover why NTU is such an incredible place to study.
John Clare: Lecture Theatre 6 at 9.15 – 10 am and repeated in Teaching and Learning building: Lecture Theatre 2 at 10.15 – 11 am.
3. Get to know your subject
We recommend that you plan the rest of your day around your subject talk and related activities.

4. Take a campus tour
Take a student-led tour of Clifton Campus and facilities.
Tours take around 45 minutes and give you the chance to ask our current students about their experience of life at NTU.
5. View accommodation
Visit Clifton Campus halls of residence between 9 am – 3 pm to explore the accommodation options.
Our Student Accommodation Services team will be available to help you find your new home.
6. Hear from our current students
Join us in our 'What I wish I'd known when I started at NTU' talk where our student ambassadors will share their insights and practical tips to help you settle in, get involved, and thrive at NTU.

Drop-in to the Pavilion building foyer between 9 am – 3 pm to meet the people who are dedicated to making your time at NTU the best it can be.

Quiet space available
Signed posted rooms in Teaching and Learning building, Room P11.
- Spaces are reserved for rest, reflection, and quiet.
- Phone-free zone, with noise and conversation kept to a minimum.
- Student Support Services will be available on their stand for any support or questions.
Plan your journey
Travel disruption – Saturday 28 June
- A52 roadworks – roadworks are underway on the A52 near Nottingham as part of a National Highways project, running to spring 2026. Please allow extra time and plan your route accordingly.
- Royal Lancers Parade – travel in Nottingham city centre will be disrupted from 10 am–12.30 pm due to the Royal Lancers Parade. Road closures and diversions will affect trams (suspended between Nottingham Station and Royal Centre), NCT buses (some routes diverted), and trentbarton services (terminating early or using alternative stops). Car parking spaces* are available on campus and the satnav postcode address is NG11 8NS.
If you are a Blue Badge holder or need to bring your car to the University because of your medical condition, we may be able to provide a parking space. Clifton Sports Hub car park is reserved for Blue Badge holders only, however, parking is not guaranteed and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

If you're travelling to Nottingham by coach (National Express or Megabus), you'll arrive near the train station, which is approximately four miles from our Clifton Campus.
Upon arrival, you can catch the NCT number 1 bus from the stop on Carrington Street (Nottingham Railway Station, S2), which will drop you opposite our Clifton Campus on the A453 (NTU Clifton, CL83). More information on fares and timetables can be found on the NCT website.
