Plan your visit
Based on your open day booking, you're visiting our Brackenhurst Campus, which is located on a 500 acre site of fields, woodlands and water.
With warm weather expected, we've designated an air-conditioned space on campus where you can take a break and keep cool between sessions. At Brackenhurst, this is our NTSU space. Our staff and student ambassadors will be happy to direct you there as needed.
To help you stay comfortable throughout the day, don't forget to bring a refillable water bottle, and make use of the water refill stations available across campus. Please make sure to bring sunscreen and a hat for any time spent moving between buildings and from transport.
1. Check-in on arrival
Head to the Main Hall or the Bramley building to check-in and get a handy tote bag. Refreshments can be found in the Refectory.
2. Enjoy a warm welcome
Kick-start your day at our welcome talk to discover why NTU is such an incredible place to study.

3. Get to know your subject
We recommend that you plan the rest of your day around your subject talk and related activities.

4. Take a campus tour
Take a student-led campus tour of our Brackenhurst Campus and facilities.
Tours take around 40 minutes and give you the chance to ask our current students about their experience of life at NTU.
5. View accommodation
Visit the Brackenhurst Campus halls of residence between 9 am – 3 pm to explore the accommodation options.
Our Student Accommodation Services team will be available to help you find your new home.
6. Offer holder talk
If you’ve received an offer from NTU, join our offer holder talk to help you prepare for the next steps, including student finance, accommodation options and the support available to you.

Quiet space available
We’re committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for everyone, and are pleased to offer a dedicated quiet space during our open day. This calm and welcoming room is available for rest and reflection whenever you need a break. Our friendly team will be on hand to chat and can invite relevant staff to join you for one-to-one conversations. You’ll find the space in Room 102 in the Main Hall.

With several events taking place in and around Nottingham this weekend, we recommend checking your journey before you travel and allowing extra time where possible.
If you have any access requirements please email enquiries@ntu.ac.uk ahead of your visit so that we can put suitable provisions in place.

The satnav postcode for our Brackenhurst Campus is NG25 0QF. There are plenty of parking spaces available on site for all visitors.*
If you are a Blue Badge holder or need to bring your car to the University because of your medical condition, we may be able to provide a parking space. Parking is not guaranteed and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

If you're travelling to Nottingham by coach (National Express or Megabus), you'll arrive at Broad Marsh Bus Station.
Nottingham City Transport (NCT)’s Pathfinder 26 bus service will take you to our Brackenhurst Campus in 45 minutes. The bus leaves every 30 minutes from the K1 bus stop on King Street, just off the Old Market Square. Visit the NCT site for more information on bus services.

You can get to our Brackenhurst Campus from Nottingham Train Station by catching Nottingham City Transports (NCT)'s Pathfinder 26 bus service from the Southwell Road stop (Stop SN61).
The closest train station to our Brackenhurst Campus is Lowdham. You can then catch Nottingham City Transports (NCT)'s Pathfinder 26 bus service from the War Memorial bus stop to Brackenhurst Campus, the journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Visit the NCT site for more information on bus services.
East Midlands Airport is just 15 miles from Nottingham city centre and has a dedicated bus service between the airport and the city centre.
