Forensic Science at NTU
From crime scenes to courtrooms, you’ll explore the fundamentals of forensics. These include key technical and process skills, ethics and law, crime scene investigation, DNA analysis and examining evidence for court.
Our undergraduate forensic science courses combine hands-on experience with theory, policy and practice. You’ll learn specialist skills in our Crime Scene Training Facility on our Clifton Campus, in training scenarios that include burglaries and assaults.
You’ll benefit from our connections with a range of established industry experts and partners including East Midlands Special Operations Unit – Forensic Services, the Home Office, Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs and Nottinghamshire Police.
At Masters level, our courses are designed to amalgamate your intellectual interests and career ambitions, our courses will enable your progress in the fast-paced, dynamic field of forensic science. Apply hands-on practice to theory in areas ranging from toxicology to bioarchaeology, whilst exploring the latest debates at the forefront of the sector.
With support from specialist staff and research experts, these courses will enable you to gain a critical and informed understanding of the policies, legislations, analytical techniques and debates that are currently shaping the field.
