Turn your passion into a creative career
Immerse yourself in the world of gaming design at Nottingham’s creative hub. Wherever your strengths lie, we will nurture your talents and give you the experience, practice and access to the right facilities to allow you to grow your skills in the gaming and esports field.
During the application process, you may have received correspondence indicating that your course would be delivered by Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies. Please be advised that Confetti is now integrated into the Nottingham School of Art & Design at Nottingham Trent University. This change does not impact the quality or content of your course; it is now part of a larger, integrated academic community within NTU.
There's so much to look forward to!
Our teaching staff will help and support you to develop your career, directing you towards work placement and professional practice opportunities. Some of your modules will be delivered by visiting lecturers who are active in the industry, giving you an up-to-date and relevant insight into the games and esports industry today.
Do if for real
We pride ourselves on our industry connections, which allow students to ‘Do It For Real’ and experience working in their chosen industries alongside their studies.
Past students have gained work experience with the likes of Lockwood Publishing, Dambuster Studios and many others, allowing them to fully immerse themselves within the gaming industry whilst still studying – not just learn about it from a distance.
Work opportunities
In order for you to maintain industry relevance, the course has strong links with the games and creative industries and arts community. This ensures that the content delivered is current and within a real industry context. Students on this course have previously worked with both Crytek, Sumo Digital, Lockwood Publishing and the Gamecity Festival on various projects.
