Congratulations on your offer!

Accepting your offer for Games and Esports at NTU means joining an innovative community where creativity, strategy and technology merge. Whether you want to design games, develop interactive worlds, or shape the future of esports, this is where you’ll begin your journey into one of the most exciting sectors in the creative industries.

Why accept your offer?

You’ll learn game engines, coding, 3D modelling, concept art, storytelling, and gameplay mechanics through hands-on projects that mirror real development pipelines. Working individually and in teams, you’ll build playable experiences and digital worlds, gaining the problem-solving and technical skills needed to succeed in games.

If your focus is esports, you’ll explore production, coaching, events, content creation and strategy. You’ll develop the knowledge needed to run competitive events, manage teams, and support players, all of which are increasingly in demand in this rapidly growing industry.

Learn in industry-standard environments including game development studios, VR and AR labs, motion-capture facilities, esports arenas and high-performance gaming rigs. These specialist spaces allow you to experiment with cutting-edge technology and work exactly as the industry does.

Nottingham is home to independent studios, creative tech communities, gaming events and esports activity. Surrounded by designers, developers and players, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to collaborate, compete and build your creative confidence.
