Future of Work conference FAQs

We are looking for engaging, interactive sessions that give students meaningful insight into the modern workplace. This could include keynote talks, discussions, or workshops sessions. The most effective sessions combine practical advice, real-world examples, and opportunities for student participation where appropriate.

You will be speaking to second year Nottingham Business School students. Attendees are studying a range of disciplines, including Business, Accounting and Finance, Marketing, HR, International Business and Economics, they are preparing to enter graduate careers/placement years.

The Future of Work Conference takes place from 22nd – 26th February 2027. Further details, including your confirmed session time, will be shared following session approvals.

The conference is delivered both in person and online, speakers can select their preferred delivery. The majority of our sessions do take place on the City campus, with smaller seminar rooms and large lecture theatres available.

We welcome a wide range of topics that help students understand future career pathways and workplace expectations. Suitable themes include:
