The Global Executive MBA is designed specifically for busy working professionals looking to study flexibly and gain a prestigious MBA within two years.
The majority of the programme is studied online at a time that suits you. Each module runs over seven weeks, with regular touchpoints with your online tutor or peers during the first five weeks, including live sessions which you can take online or at our City Campus in Nottingham. The final two weeks allow you the time to focus on your final assessments.
We supplement this with three intensive one-week residentials, where you can travel to the UK, South Africa and France, and put into practice and participate in change management, strategic business planning, and global consultancy projects with local businesses.
- A good first degree (typically 2:2 or above) or equivalent professional qualifications, along with a minimum of 3 years professional experience that includes responsibility for managing organisational resources.*
*If you do not have an undergraduate degree, we can accept 8+ years of appropriate professional experience.

Please note that if you are considering a course that runs over more than one year, the tuition fee stated is for the first year of study. The course fee for the second year may be subject to annual review.

- Accommodation during the three campus-based modules.
Student is responsible for:
- Travel expenses for the international modules.
- Travel visas. This programme includes campus-based weeks where you can travel to the UK, South Africa and France. If you are based outside the UK, check local guidance for travel requirements for the study destinations as you may need to apply for a short term visa before travelling.
Scholarships
You might be able to get a scholarship of up to 50% to help fund your studies. We award scholarships to those who can demonstrate excellent achievement, passion and dedication to their studies, including our MBA Excellence Scholarship.Alumni discount
We’re happy to offer a 20% alumni discount to most current NTU students and recent NTU alumni. This discount is currently available for those starting an eligible postgraduate taught, postgraduate research or professional course.Postgraduate loans
There is a government postgraduate loan scheme for Masters degrees. The loan contributes towards costs of study, and students can put it towards tuition fees, maintenance costs or other costs at their discretion. The scholarship is worth up to half the value of your tuition fee, with an aim to recognise individuals who empower others, champion innovative thinking, drive positive societal change, and contribute to a diverse, global, and forward-thinking cohort.
Our online learning format allows you to find time in your schedule that works best for you and your lifestyle.
We generally advise students to allocate between 12 to 15 hours per week for their studies, although this may vary depending on your own preferences and commitments.
Our online learning materials are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also download the materials for offline use, for example if you are travelling for work and would like to use that time studying.
