How to book accommodation

The process of booking depends on what type of accommodation and provider you need. We’ve put together some useful information on how to book NTU, UPP or private accommodation.

Bookings for new students starting in September 2026 opened on Tuesday 10 February 2026.

To book for this year you’ll need your NTU ID number, which will have been sent to you in your offer communications from us.

You must also have:

  • confirmed NTU as your first choice or Clearing choice on UCAS Hub,
  • allow 48 hours after accepting your offer on UCAS before creating your password,
  • have accepted your offer on our applicant portal if you applied direct,
  • or be a returning NTU student.

We do not require a deposit to reserve NTU or UPP accommodation.

  • UCAS Hub – if you applied through UCAS
  • NTU Applicant Portal – if you applied directly to NTU

Explore the range of student accommodation options we have available and make a shortlist of your favourites.

You’ll need a password before you can book. We recommend doing this before the booking system opens.

Please allow 48 hours after accepting your offer on UCAS before creating your password.

To create your password: enter your NTU ID on the My Password page and follow the steps.

When booking opens, access the NTU accommodation portal and select ‘Accommodation booking’ and follow the steps on screen.

Log in using your NTU ID and the password you created in Step 3.

Choose your preferred residence, flat and room. When you're ready, check your details and select ‘Book room’ to confirm.

After booking, you’ll be invited back to sign your contract and set up your rent payment plan. You'll receive an email to confirm your booking.

If your course offer is still being processed by our Admissions team, or you’re a conditional offer holder, you will be asked to complete these steps once your course place has been confirmed.
