NTU is excited to offer Lifestyle flats for the 2025/26 academic year. We're always striving to adapt to the needs of our students, and we know these are constantly evolving. That's why we're including Quiet Flats for a calmer living environment, and Alcohol-Free Flats for students who are non-drinkers.
These flats are available at Gill Street North, Blenheim, New Hall and Peverell, with Quiet Flats also offered on our Brackenhurst Campus.
You'll be able to state your preference when booking through our online portal, but this does not guarantee you a Lifestyle flat as the number of these rooms is limited and subject to availability.
We offer rooms in single gender flats and/or houses. This means your flat mates will identify with the same gender as you. Please note, single gender accommodation may not be available in every hall. The accommodation portal will show live availability of all the single gender rooms that can be booked. Additionally, residents are permitted to have visitors that don’t share the same gender identity.

Booking private accommodation
If you are interested in private accommodation, you must book directly with that private provider. Your contract will be with the company or individual that manages that building.
We recommend several private providers for purpose-built student accommodation in Nottingham, and there are lots more options. We also partner with Unipol who provide student accommodation across Nottingham.
