Role
Helen Hollis provides academic leadership for BA and MA Interior Architecture and Design.
She also teaches on several modules across undergraduate year groups. Helen is the leader for Year One Design Studio and tutor for Year Four Design Studio. Helen has also taught Design Communications and the Technical Studies modules.
Career overview
Helen has spent 14 Years working for Allan Joyce Architects prior to coming to NTU, where she headed up the Interior Design Department. Helen worked on jobs in several different sectors, including hospitality, commercial and residential design.
External activity
Helen still keeps her hand in the world of Interior Design and Construction by doing Planning and Building Regulation drawings and Interior Design schemes for friends and family. Helen has completed several house renovations which utilise all her skills as an Interior Designer!
Helen attends courses and CPDs relating to Interior Design to keep her knowledge current and up-to-date.
