Students learn from experienced musicians, producers, engineers and event specialists while gaining hands-on experience with professional-standard facilities and equipment. Collaboration across music, media, technology, business and the creative arts reflects the realities of modern industry practice.

In Nottingham, students benefit from Metronome, our commercial music and live events venue, where learning extends into live projects, performances and productions, as well as specialist Design for Performance facilities that support theatre, screen and live event design. At NTU London, students have access to a 450-capacity live music venue, professional recording studios, rehearsal spaces, content creation studios and specialist live events production facilities, providing valuable real-world experience throughout their studies.

Through industry partnerships, live briefs, placements and networking opportunities, our students build the skills, confidence and connections needed to succeed. Our graduates go on to become performers, producers, sound engineers, artist managers, event professionals and entrepreneurs across the global music and live entertainment industry.
