The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice combines world leading research across a wide range of criminological and criminal justice themes with high quality teaching and experiential learning in key areas of employment and practice.
The Department offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Criminology, Criminal Justice and Policing which include significant placement and work-based learning opportunities with partner organisations in HM Prison Service, Nottinghamshire Police, Emergency Call East Midlands as well as a wide range of regional social justice organisations.
Teaching staff are academics and practitioners, bringing their professional experience and expertise into the classroom. A list of staff and courses can be found below.
A Working Paper Series has been created by the Department which aims to accelerate the public availability of practice and scholarship informed outputs and other research undertaken by staff and students within the Department.
