We are pleased to offer the following flexible accommodation contracts, perfect for Pre-sessional English (PEAP) students and students starting a Masters course in January, for example.
All contracts are for ensuite rooms on the third floor of our Sandby residence. These contracts will be available to full-time fully enrolled NTU students on non-standard courses (such as part-year exchange courses, Pre-sessional English for Academic Purpose courses and Masters courses starting in January).
|Contract Type||Fixed Contract Dates||Cost||Booking fee/|
|10 week PEAP (June)||22/06/2018 – 06/09/2018||£1,486.87||N/A||In full in advance|
|6 week PEAP (July)||19/07/2018 – 06/09/2018||£965.50||N/A||In full in advance|
If you would like to book one of these contracts, then please email us with your NTU student ID number and stating which contract you would like. We will respond with availability and booking instructions. If you don’t have your NTU ID number, please send us your full name and date of birth.
As this is the first year we are offering these contracts, we have limited number of rooms of each type. Room allocation will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis. If these contracts are not suitable, or if our allocation becomes full, then we will offer you support and guidance in finding alternative accommodation – either in NTU Homestay or in the private sector.
If you decide to look in the private sector we also offer short term accommodation in Sandby at the start of term. This gives you the opportunity to arrive in Nottingham and familiarise yourself with the city, before committing to a longer contract. This accommodation is available starting from 9 September but will be charged for a minimum of seven nights costing £24.58 per night (with a minimum charge of £172.06).
Entering into a contract for accommodation is an important decision so please make sure you read the contract carefully and ask us if you have any questions. You may wish to download these important documents:
For any contracts that are one term or longer you will need to pay a non-refundable £200 booking fee and depending on the length of the contract you will need to pay some / all of your residence fees in advance. Once you move in your non-refundable booking fee will become your damage deposit that is refunded at the end of the contract.
You can cancel your booking as long as you do so at least 21 days before the start date on your contract – you need to do this by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. If you cancel by the deadline you will get a refund of any residence fees you paid in advance, but you will not get a refund of the £200 booking fee.
