Undergraduate fees 2027 entry
International student fees for 2027 entry onto a full-time Bachelors (undergraduate) degree at NTU are:
- £19,150 for courses in the Nottingham School of Art & Design, School of Science and Technology (London only) and Nottingham Business School.
- £18,400 for all other subjects.
- If you do a work placement as part of an undergraduate course at NTU, the placement fee for 2027/28 academic year is £2,010.
Please note the following:
- Tuition fees are payable for each year you are at University.
- Fees for the second and subsequent years of your Bachelors degree may increase in line with inflation and as specified by the UK government.
- It's essential that you're financially prepared to study at NTU, with funds for living costs and to make your tuition fee payments by the set payment deadlines.
Full-time Masters fees September 2027 / January 2028 entry
You’ll find international student fees for September 2027 and January 2028 entry onto a full-time Masters degree by subject area and course in the list below.
Please note:
- The fees stated are for one year of study.
- If you study the two-year route of an eligible Masters, which incorporates a work placement, the fee for the work placement will be £2,010.
- It's essential that you're financially prepared for study at NTU, with funds for living costs and to make your tuition fee payments by the set payment deadlines.
Masters with a January start:
- Postgraduate students starting in January pay the Masters fee from the preceding September - this is published on the course page.
- Students starting a Masters in January 2027 pay the Sept 2026 / Jan 2027 entry fee.
- Students starting a Masters in January 2028 pay the Sept 2027 / Jan 2028 entry fee.

Postgraduate research (PhD and Doctorates) 2027 entry
Our tuition fees for postgraduate research are set and reviewed on an annual basis and the amount you pay will depend on the length and mode of your studies.
The 2027 entry fees for international students undertaking a full-time PhD are:
- £19,550 per year for research within the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences, or the School of Science and Technology.
- £18,350 per year for all other Schools.
- Professional Doctorates £14,150 per year.

If you're joining NTU from one of our exchange partners, you typically won’t pay tuition fees.
