The Department of Human Resource Management at Nottingham Business School offers a wide range of academic and industry experience in the areas of Human Resource Management and Organisation Studies.
Our courses
The department provides academic leadership for a diverse portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programmes through a cutting-edge learning environment.
Our programmes offer students a challenging and vibrant experience in gaining in-depth knowledge, skills and techniques in the field. Career development and achieving success are at the core of all our programmes with many students securing prominent HR roles in the public, private and third sector, following graduation.
Human Resource Management (HRM) students at Nottingham Business School are actively involved in the Student HR Society where we encourage members to share and learn more about relevant contemporary HRM topics, as well as enjoying social activities. It is highly active and has the full support of our academic staff who help the society attract guest speakers from industry and alumni of our courses. Our students also engage in a number of business-related conferences and events. These include the Annual Charted Institute of Personnel and Development conference (CIPD) and the professional body for HR Practitioners.
